The Merchant Navy Entrance Exam(IMU CET) is commonly organized for various courses like B. Tech Marine Engineering, B. Tech Naval Architecture, Bsc Maritime Science, Bsc Nautical Science, Bsc Ship Building/Reapir and Diploma in Nautical Science, MBA Port Shippinhg & Management, MBA International Transportation and Logistics Management, Mtech Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering and Mtech Dredging/Harbor Engineering.

The maximum marks of this merchant navy exam are 200 with a duration of 3 hours. The subjects which are covered in the IMU CET exam is the Physics, Chemistry. Mathematics, English, General Aptitude and General Knowledge. The eligibility for the IMU CET exam is that a candidate has to be cleared with 10+2 holding an aggregate of 60% in PCM and 50% in English.
